#19 Just Go Ahead and Quit

In this episode I'm discussing how I'm dismantling another one of my own limiting beliefs, and this week's thought is: don't quit.

We believe the story pretty universally that quitters are losers. However, it is also true that it's sometimes in our best interest to quit.

There are also times in our life when we definitely will not benefit by quitting, so how do we know when it's the right decision to quit and when it's the right decision to keep going?

"You can choose to view the world with its problems, or you can choose to view the world with possible solutions."

What you'll learn in this episode:

  • Why quitting one thing creates space for putting our love toward something else

  • Often we do know what we want, but we are afraid of what the knowing will bring

  • When you're not making a decision that is also a choice

  • As long as you love your reasons for not deciding, you can just take the decision off the table and not make yourself wrong for doing that

"Go ahead and quit relationships and friendships that are no longer serving you. Just because you've been friends with someone for 20 years and you used to be really close doesn't mean you are stuck in that relationship."

Since you're thinking "I could use some support, and I want Melissa to be the person to help me," go this moment and click on the Work With Me tab and schedule a consult.

Let's go quit some shit, people!
