Hey, this is Melissa Parsons, and you are listening to the Your Favorite You Podcast. I'm a certified life coach with an advanced certification in deep dive coaching. The purpose of this podcast is to help brilliant women like you with beautiful brains create the life you've been dreaming of with intentions. My goal is to help you find your favorite version of you by teaching you how to treat yourself as your own best friend.
If this sounds incredible to you and you want practical tips on changing up how you treat yourself, then you're in the right place. Just so you know, I'm a huge fan of using all of the words available to me in the English language, so please proceed with caution if young ears are around.
Hey there beautiful humans, welcome back to Your Favorite You.
I'm still Melissa Parsons, your host, and today I'm sharing something I'm incredibly excited about, something that's been brewing in my heart and my mind for some time now and is finally ready to come out into the world.
But before I dive in, I want you to think about something. When was the last time you caught a glimpse of a favorite version of yourself? Hopefully by now, you know what I mean. That moment when you felt completely confident, purposeful, and alive, where everything just flowed and you thought, okay, this is who I really am.
I want you to hold on to that feeling because today we're talking about how to make that your everyday reality.
Here's what I've been noticing, both in my own life and with the incredible humans I have the opportunity to work with. We get these beautiful glimpses of who we can be, and then we slip back into autopilot. We get caught up in the shoulds, the expectations, the patterns that feel safe but keep us small. Ask me how I know.
And here's the thing, I don't think this is because we're lazy or unmotivated or lacking in any way. I think it's because we've never been taught how to actually embody and sustain a favorite version of ourselves.
We've been conditioned to believe that transformation has to be this massive, overwhelming overhaul of our entire lives. So when we catch that glimpse of our potential, instead of moving toward it, we think, well, I'd have to change everything and I don't have time for that right now.
But what if I told you that's not true? What if living as a favorite version of you wasn't about becoming someone completely different, but it was more about peeling back the layers so that you can reconnect with who you already are beneath all of the noise.
I've been thinking about this a lot lately, especially as I've watched clients complete my longer six-month programs and then ask, what's next? How do I keep this momentum going? Or hearing from people who say, I love what you do, but six months and meeting every week feels like such a big commitment right now.
And so it kind of hit me, what if there was a way to create profound transformation in a more focused and perhaps more accessible timeframe? What if we could cut straight to the heart of what matters most, reconnecting with your authentic self without the overwhelm?
That's exactly why I created my new one-on-one offer, which is called Replenish and Refocus. It's an intimate four month coaching experience designed specifically for people who are ready to stop living on autopilot and start creating a life that truly excites them.
Now, I wanna be clear about something. This isn't about adding more to your already full plate. This isn't about another set of goals or another way to optimize your life. This is about subtraction. This is about removing the layers that have been dimming your light so that a favorite version of you can finally emerge.
Over eight powerful one-on-one sessions, my plan is to deep dive into what's been keeping you from living as your most authentic self. What's in the way? We're going to challenge the beliefs that have been running the show behind the scenes.
We're gonna get crystal clear on what you actually want, not what you think you should want, but what makes you come alive. And here's what I love most about this experience. It's completely personalized as all of my one-on-one containers are.
You bring whatever feels most alive or pressing to each session. Maybe one week we're talking about a career transition. Maybe the next call we're diving into your relationships or your creativity or that dream that you've been afraid to voice out loud.
The beauty is that when you're connected to a favorite version of yourself, when you're operating from that place of authentic alignment, every other area of your life starts to shift because you're not trying to be someone you're not anymore. You're just being who you've always been underneath everything else.
I've structured this as eight sessions, eight one-hour sessions over four months, because I've learned that real transformation can need both intensity and integration time.
So we need those deep conversations where breakthrough happens, and sometimes we also need space to let things settle and see how they show up in your real life.
Now, you might be wondering, is this for me? And honestly, if you're listening to this podcast and you're not my mother, there's a good chance that it is. But let me paint a picture of who I had in mind when I created this experience. This is for you if you've been feeling like you're living someone else's life, even though on paper, everything looks fine.
You might've achieved the things you thought you wanted, but there's the nagging sense that there's more possible. This is for you if you catch glimpses of your potential, but struggle to sustain that version of you.
You know who you are when you're at your favorite. But somehow, you keep slipping back into old patterns that feel smaller or safer, or they're just not quite right. This is for you if you're tired of playing it safe, if you're ready to stop asking, what will people think? And start asking, what would make me think the most highly of me? What will make me come alive? Maybe you're in a transition, maybe it's a career transition, or a relationship transition, or you're in a life stage transition.
And you want to approach it with intention rather than just reacting to whatever is happening. Or maybe everything's stable, but you have the sense that you're capable of so much more depth and joy and impact than you're currently experiencing.
Here's what I know, if you're listening to this, and you feel that little spark of recognition that yes, this is for me feeling in your chest, that is your favorite you saying hello. That's the part of you that knows exactly who you are and what you're capable of, even if that part has been quiet for a while.
The question isn't whether you're ready for this kind of transformation. The question is, are you ready to stop waiting for permission to be who you really are? So here's what I want to say to you. If you're feeling called to this, your favorite you isn't some distant dream.
She's not this perfect version of yourself that you'll maybe become someday if you work hard enough. Your favorite you is who you are right now, when all the extra noise falls away. When you stop trying to be what you think you should be and just let yourself be who you actually are.
I've seen this over and over again in my work, the moment when someone stops performing their life and starts living it. When they stop trying to fit into boxes that were never meant for them. And they start creating from their own authentic desires.
It's like watching someone take their first real breath after holding it for years. That is what replenish and refocus is designed to create: not a new you but a real version of you. The you that's been waiting patiently for this moment.
Your favorite you has things to create. She has experiences to have, joy to feel, impact to make. She has a life she's excited to live and contribution she's meant to make. How much longer are you going to make her wait?
If you're feeling called to this experience, here's what I want you to do. Please don't overthink it. Don't for the love of God make a pros and cons list or ask 17 people what they think you should do.
Just go to MelissaParsonsCoaching.com/rr for replenish and refocus and read about it. See if it resonates. If it does, if you feel that little flutter of excitement mixed with nervousness, I call it nervous sighted.
That's your favorite you saying, yes, this is how we want to move forward. I'm only going to be taking a limited number of people into this experience each quarter because I want to be fully present for each person's journey.
This isn't a program you're going to get lost in. This is intimate, powerful work that requires and deserves my loving attention. So if this is calling to you, don't wait. Your favorite you has been patient long enough.
I'm so excited about this offering. It feels like the perfect intersection of everything I've learned about transformation and everything I know about what people really need right now. If you have questions, you can always reach out to me.
We can always do a one-hour phone or Zoom consultation. And if you're ready to begin, just go to MelissaParsonsCoaching.com/rr and read about it. Click on the link and get started. And I'll see you on the other side.
Your favorite you is ready to emerge. The only question is, are you ready to let her? Okay, I'll talk to you next week.
