THE FIVE DAYS
Which of these five moments feels familiar?
MONDAY · NOV 16
Why you can make high-stakes decisions at work but can't answer "What do you want?"
You asked your husband. Then your mom. Then the group chat. Five opinions later, you're even LESS sure what you want.
WEDNESDAY · NOV 18
You've done therapy and read the books, so why do you keep doing the same thing?
Your therapist explained the pattern. The book made total sense. You KNOW better. And you're still doing it.
FRIDAY · NOV 20
I had everything I ever wanted and I was still miserable. Here's why.
Your life is good. You're grateful for it. And you still want more, and feel guilty for wanting it.
TUESDAY · NOV 17
How to say no without the three-paragraph justification
Your answer is no. Your text is three paragraphs, an apology and a little offer to squeeze it in after all.
THURSDAY · NOV 19
Why the woman who handles everything can't relax, even on vacation
You booked the beautiful vacation, then spent it by the pool making a list of everything you should be doing.
If one or more of those made you think, "Oh, shit. She means me," come to that day. Or come to all five.
HOW COACH WEEK WORKS
Bring the real stuff. You don't have to have it figured out.
Every session runs 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Eastern. I teach one topic, then open it up for your questions. The decision you've been circling. The "no" you can't seem to send. The pattern you KNOW better than to repeat.
Even if you never unmute, you may hear another woman ask the exact question you didn't know how to put into words. That happens ALL the time.
Can't make it live? Everyone who registers gets the recordings through December 11, so missing a live call doesn't mean missing the teaching.
And in the spirit of full honesty: at the end of each session, I'll tell you about Your Favorite You, my 2027 group coaching program (more on it below). The teaching is yours either way.
You don't have to know what you want before you come. That's kind of the point.
AFTER COACH WEEK · YOUR YEAR OF YOU · 2027
Your Favorite You
Coach Week gives you the questions. Your Favorite You gives you a whole year to practice the answers.
Twelve months of coaching, community and support with me, just seven women, and five nights together in Tulum. Not just simply more information about why you do what you do. Somewhere to practice doing it differently.
STARTS
January 6, 2027
WE MEET
Wednesdays, 1 p.m. ET on Zoom
RETREAT
Tulum, February 7–12
GROUP
Seven women, with Melissa at the helm
60 minutes with me. Book by December 11.
You don't need more information. You need somewhere to practice.
You finally figured out what YOU want. Then your mother asked about the holidays, a colleague asked you to cover "just this once," your husband disagreed with your decision, and suddenly what you want went straight out the window.
That moment isn't a failure. It's the whole reason coaching exists.
In Your Favorite You, you bring me the actual conversation. What you said. What you wanted to say. What you were afraid would happen. And when you start over-explaining or asking for permission while we're talking, I'll catch it, right then, so you can hear yourself and try something different.
Understanding your behavior and changing your behavior are two very different skills. This is where you build the second one.
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN YOUR FAVORITE YOU
A whole year to practice, as real life keeps handing you new chances.
Weekly live coaching
Every Wednesday at 1 p.m. Eastern on Zoom, starting January 6, 2027 and running all year long.
Just seven women
Small enough that there's room for YOUR real life every week. You'll hear another woman ask the exact question you've been afraid to ask.
Coaching on what's happening now
The decision you've been circling. The "no" you can't seem to send. The pattern you know better than to repeat.
Compassionate Unlearning
What to do after you notice you've done the old thing again. (Hint: attacking yourself isn't on the list.)
Five nights in Tulum
February 7–12, 2027, with the women you've just started the year with. More on that below.
Why a full year?
The first insight is the easy part. The real work happens with the next disagreement, the next request, and the moment the old pattern sneaks back in.
A private online community
Our private Facebook group, where you can celebrate, share inspiration and get coaching between our weekly live calls.
Gifts, because you deserve them
An awesome welcome gift from me when you start, plus a swag bag waiting for you when we arrive in Tulum.
FEBRUARY 7–12, 2027 · INCLUDED
And barely a month in, we go to Tulum.
Five nights at a whitewashed hideaway tucked into the jungle, named after the Maya god(dess) of the forest, with a rooftop pool overlooking the treetops.
You will be exquisitely taken care of.

Private chef
Gentle yoga, your way
Cacao ceremony
A 90-minute massage
The Muyil River through the mangroves
Sound healing and dinner at Holistika
Airport transportation handled
A private chef, so you never think about food
You don't need to worry about meeting your nutritional needs (or anyone else's). You don't even need to clear your plate or rinse a dish. This was remarkable on the last retreat I hosted. What becomes available to you when all of your human needs are met and you barely have to lift a finger?
Gentle yoga, your way
A gentle practice you can modify to whatever level you want. Hell, you can lie there in savasana or child's pose the whole time, or sleep in if you prefer. Attendance will not be taken!
Remember the woman checking her email by the pool?
This is the pool where she finally gets to practice NOT doing that, surrounded by women who get it. By February, they're not strangers.
"I couldn't possibly leave for five nights."
My client Colleen thought that too. Her colleague was going to be away. People needed her. I asked her one question: "What if you could?" She figured it out.
Spoiler alert: she's coming again this time. That's how much she loved the first retreat and coaching in our group!
WHAT CHANGES
You may not need to leave your life. You definitely need to stop abandoning yourself.
"More comfortable and confident in making waves and making people feel uncomfortable in a good way."
Katie, who once said, "If I rock the boat, the boat is going to capsize and no one is going to survive."
"Once I decided that I wanted to have a life, I stopped needing everyone else's permission to live it."
Jeri Lou, who used to poll her list of people before doing anything for herself.
"A little Melissa sitting on my shoulder."
Several clients, on the voice that isn't judging them, just getting curious about why they're doing the old thing again.
Fair warning: I might not tell you they were wrong.
You can bring me a conflict hoping I'll agree the other person is the whole problem. Sometimes I'll help you see you've been accepting treatment you don't want to accept anymore.
And sometimes I'll ask about the part you're playing. Did you actually ask for what you wanted? Did you say yes and then resent it?
I know. Ouch. That's the question your friends may be too nice to ask you. I care about you too much not to.
This isn't therapy, and it isn't business coaching. The goal isn't needing me forever. It's trusting yourself.

MEET YOUR COACH
Hi, I'm Melissa.
For 22 years as a pediatrician, I made high-stakes decisions. But in my own life, I could second-guess decisions that were nowhere near life-or-death.
At 44, I had the life I'd spent decades building. Then, the day after Christmas, I watched a video of myself singing karaoke, beyond tipsy, in a billowy shirt to hide my body. I thought I needed to change my relationship with food and alcohol. What was MUCH more true: I needed to change my relationship with myself.
Within two weeks I'd hired my first coach. In 2020, I started Melissa Parsons Coaching, and I've since coached hundreds of women. I host the Your Favorite You podcast, and my TEDx talk, "What a Funeral Home Taught Me About Living," is about the same idea at the heart of this program: there's more than one way to save a life.
I still practice everything I teach, and I consider myself my #1 client for life!
HOW TO JOIN YOUR FAVORITE YOU
It starts with a conversation.
Book your consult
Schedule a complimentary 60-minute call with me by December 11. Coming to Coach Week first? Perfect. Book whenever you're ready.
1
We talk honestly
What keeps happening, what you want to change, what you've tried. Plus the time commitment, Tulum and the investment.
2
You decide
Without polling anyone first. (See what I did there?)
3
About the investment
About the seven spots
Your Favorite You is a significant investment in yourself, and I walk through it on every consult. For many of the women I work with, the hard part isn't whether they can afford it. It's whether they can give themselves permission to spend that much time and money on themselves, without needing everyone else to approve first.
Which is kind of the whole point.
Seven is the size of the whole group, not the number of open places. My current members get first dibs, so I won't know exactly how many spots open up until they decide. We'll talk about availability when we speak.
Questions you might be asking
ABOUT COACH WEEK
Is Coach Week really free?
Yes! Five live sessions, November 16–20, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Eastern, with teaching and plenty of time for your questions. It's free.
What if I can't make it live?
Come to the day that's about you, or all five. Everyone who registers gets the recordings through December 11, so missing a live call doesn't mean missing the teaching.
Do I have to join Your Favorite You to come?
Nope. At the end of each session, I'll tell you about Your Favorite You, because I'd love for you to know it exists. The teaching is yours either way.
